About Us
Hello, I’m Nadine Backhaus — a bilingual counselor, educator, and career specialist with a background in healthcare, education, and cross-cultural communication. I offer career and language coaching in both English and German, specializing in medical and business language training, résumé and LinkedIn development, and interview preparation.
My journey began in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, where I developed a strong foundation in medical terminology, teamwork, and communication under pressure. That experience sparked my lifelong interest in helping people connect — across disciplines, languages, and cultures.
I went on to earn a Master’s degree in Education and Human Development (Rehabilitation Counseling) from The George Washington University and have spent over a decade supporting clients and students from around the world. As a rehabilitation counselor and employment specialist, I’ve helped individuals find meaningful work, build confidence, and express their professional strengths — often across cultural or linguistic barriers.
Later, as President of an international boarding school in Somaliland, I led a cross-cultural team, managed large-scale educational programs, and built a thriving school community from the ground up. Living and working abroad strengthened my ability to teach language and communication in context — not just words and grammar, but the mindset, confidence, and cultural awareness that make communication real.

My name is Mahmoud Suleiman. I am a trilingual administrator and facilitator with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, project management, and cross-cultural communication. I excel at building rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and representing organizations with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
Throughout my career, I have served as the public-facing bridge between institutions, donors, government partners, and community members. I have managed outreach, donor communication, reporting, and translation in English, Somali, and Arabic, and I also have working knowledge of German. I have led social media engagement, communicated with international donors, and acted as the main liaison between nonprofits and government agencies.
I am committed to clear communication, strong relationships, and reliable follow-through—qualities that make me well suited to serve as the outreach lead and first point of contact for our coaching business.
